In the seventh episode of TuxJam we take a brief look at Turnkey Linux, Crunchbang and Crux. This is followed by an indepth look at the libre gnu/Linux distro Trisquel, Quassel IRC client and Diaspora Webclient on the android platform.

The sixth episode of TuxJam has a multimedia theme.  In this episode Kevie takes a look at Purdyne Linux, there is a roud up of several open source CD ripping software including Asunder, RipperX and RubyRipper and also takes a look at a media player, which is forked from Mplayer, called UMplayer.  Along with the usual feature episode 6 includes TuxJam's first ever guest where fellow Crivins co-host Thistleweb joins in for a brief chat about the new show. This episode starts with a brief look at some new releases including: Linux Portable Security, Incognito, Kororaa and Fuduntu.

This is followed by a review of The Beast ROM on the HTC Sensation.  Along with a look at the desktop programs Hotot micro-blogging client and SRWare Iron browser, click here for the test results.

We take a very sneak peak at an upcoming event (the only give away is the Scottish theme) and thank headphonica, Lydia Stench and Chimo for their contributions.
